People in South Africa speak a variety of languages, the two most common being English and Afrikaans. South Africans are usually Christian, Hindu, or Muslim in religious faith. South Africa is extremely rich in many different metals. These metals include: gold, diamonds, iron, platinum, manganese, chromium, copper, uranium, silver, beryllium, and titanium. With Britain leading in the industrializing world, it was necessary for them to have easy access to most of these metals. Most of south Africa's crops are types of grains, cereals, and maize. The main exports of South Africa were the two most precious minerals they had, diamonds and gold. The gold deposits found were some of the largest in the world. Goods manufactured in South Africa include the textile industry along with tools which helped with the mining of all the natural resources.
